Sound design is the art of creating sound effects, editing music and finessing dialogue for Film, TV, Radio, Podcasts, Computer Games & even Theatre. At Cold Water Studios we use a selection of recording techniques, synthesis, and processing to produce rich sounds no matter the style you’re after.
Automated Dialog Replacement (ADR) is the process of re-recording dialogue by an actor post the filming process to improve audio quality or reflect dialogue changes. We use industry standard microphones in an acoustically sound recording space to give actors performances clarity.
Sound recordist is a member of a film crew responsible for recording all sound recording on set during the filmmaking production. We use professional audio equipment to record for inclusion in the finished product, or for reference to be used by the Sound Designer. Cold Water Studios has a choice of microphones & recording media with experience in everything from Documentaries & Films, Spoken Word Charity Videos & Adverts.
